Shaun Swartz – Chief Executive Officer
As the founder of Strive Software International, Shaun has extensive experience in the management of schools, colleges and universities. His career has included designing optimised timetables for universities, developing and marketing the electronic version of the KODUS Interest Questionnaire (psychological career assessment) to school and universities, as well as lecturing in Computer Science at a private university. Shaun continues to develop innovative and integrated education systems. His specific research interests include student retention and the integral use of computers and technology in the classroom.
Philip Ehlers – Managing Director
Philip has more than 16 years experience in the development of student management systems, as well as extensive project management experience. In addition to managing new system developments and ongoing system updates, Philip also manages the day-to-day operation of Strive Software International.
Elmari Ehlers – IS Manager
Elmari has worked on the development of education management systems for the past 15 years. As IS Manager and Head Systems Developer, she manages all new and ongoing system developments, testing and support. Her role also includes managing the technical support and system development teams, as well as overseeing the coding and implementation of all new and updated systems.
Hendrik Fourie – Projects
Hendrik is a project facilitator working across all project platforms on the development, testing and implementation of the software. He also assists all clients with their implementation training as well as on-going training for all Strive Software International systems.
Mick Botha – Helpdesk
Mick oversees the helpdesk team, the implementation of the various systems for clients and manages the hosted servers and development requests made by clients. Mick also conducts client implementation training and is responsible for the technical system related writing for the client manuals. In addition, Mick ensures that clients receive efficient and helpful ongoing support.
Lindsay Calder – Marketing and Sales
Lindsay has worked within education for more than ten years, at the school, FE and HE levels. Her experience includes running a campus, educational marketing and sales, education management consulting, foreign qualifications, awarding bodies, educational regulators and compliance and expanding educational programmes into Africa.
